Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserves have reached $32.15 billion as of 10 August, according to the latest data from Bangladesh Bank.
The figure is based on the IMF’s BPM6 method, which is widely used to compare countries’ usable foreign reserves. This comes just one day after the central bank said the country’s gross reserves had crossed the $32 billion mark.
he rise is a positive sign for Bangladesh’s economy, especially as the country works to strengthen its foreign exchange position. Bangladesh Bank is also continuing efforts to keep the foreign exchange market and the external sector stable.
