4 held from AL flash procession

Police have arrested four members of the banned Awami League and its affiliated organisations while they were preparing to bring out a flash procession in Banani area of the capital.

The incident took place at around 1:25pm on Tuesday in front of CM Pump on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Main Road, adjacent to the gate of the Institute of Public Health in Mohakhali under Banani Police Station.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Additional Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Niaz Mehedi confirmed the matter in a press statement.
