Moin Khan proposes Mirza Fakhrul for presidency, Goyeshwar seconds

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been proposed as the party’s candidate for the presidency, with Standing Committee member Dr Abdul Moin Khan as the proposer and Goyeshwar Chandra Roy as the seconder.

BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury confirmed the development on Thursday.

He said Moin Khan proposed Fakhrul’s nomination, while Goyeshwar supported the proposal.
