UCB, Visa hold strategic engagement on payments innovation

United Commercial Bank (UCB), in collaboration with Visa, held a strategic engagement at the bank’s head office, focusing on the future of payments, innovation, market expansion and payment excellence.
The meeting was attended by Visa Bangladesh Country Manager Sabbir Ahmed, Asia Pacific Regional President Stephen Karpin, and Group Country Manager for India and South Asia Suresh Sethi, along with UCB Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Deputy Managing Directors Md Abdullah Al Mamoon and Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman, and members of the bank’s senior management team, says a press release.
The engagement reflected the shared vision of Visa and UCB to drive payment excellence and contribute to the continued development of a more innovative and digitally enabled payments ecosystem.
