Four more children have died with symptoms of measles in Bangladesh, bringing the total number of deaths from measles-related illnesses to 894.
The Health Emergency Operations Centre and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the information in a statement on the measles situation on Friday.
According to the statement, no one died of confirmed measles between 8am Thursday and 8am Friday. However, four people died of suspected measles during the period. Since March 15, a total of 99 people have died of confirmed measles, while 795 have died of suspected measles.
