16 Sirajganj police members awarded for work efficiency

SIRAJGANJ, Aug 21: Sixteen members of the district police have been awarded with crest, certificate and money in recognition of efficiency and good work in the district. 

They were awarded at a special welfare meeting organised as part of the annual inspection of the district police at Sirajganj Police Lines on Thursday.

Superintendent of Police (SP) of Sirajganj Md Saiful Islam Santu chaired the programme while Rajshahi Range DIG Md Ashiq Saeed distributed the award as the chief guest. 

The DIG emphasised on the honesty, discipline, professionalism and devotion of the policemen. He urged the police members to work sincerely to gain people's trust through people-friendly policing besides ensuring the safety of people's lives and property. 

At that time, Additional SP (Administration and Finance) Asaduzzaman, Additional SP (Crime and Ops) Md Hafizur Rahman and senior officers of the district police were present.
