New Pirojpur hospital opens partially

PIROJPUR, Aug 23: After a long wait, the newly constructed Pirojpur 250-bed Hospital partially opened on Saturday morning. 

Emergency and Observation wards are providing services to the patients, said Civil Surgeon (CS) Dr Md Motiur Rahman. 

He said, “With the guidance of the State Minister for Housing and Public Works and MP for Pirojpur-2 Constituency Ahammad Sohel Monzoor, the hospital is operating in a limited scale.  Without the installation of four lifts, arrangement of office furniture, and recruitment of required manpower, the hospital cannot run in full swing.”
