BGB seizes Indian drugs on Daulatpur border

DAULATPUR, KUSHTIA, Aug 29: Based on specific intelligence, the Kushtia Battalion (47 BGB) conducted separate operations in the border areas under the jurisdiction of Dhala, Sheoratala and Dharmadah Border Outposts (BOPs) in Daulatpur Upazila and recovered a large quantity of Indian narcotics worth about Tk 6,01,200, with no owner found.

A team from Dhala BOP conducted an operation at Bakultala field on Friday and recovered 4 bottles of Indian liquor, 3 kilograms of hemp, 500 Dexamethasone tablets and 500 Cyproheptadine tablets. 

Later that day, an operation at Sheoratala field under Sheoratala BOP led to the recovery of 93 bottles of Indian Fairdyl syrup. 

In another operation at Dharmadah field under Dharmadah BOP, officials recovered 5 bottles of Indian liquor, 200 Dexamethasone tablets and 600 Cyproheptadine tablets.
