Tree planting, anti-drug drive held in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, Aug 25: A tree planting and anti-drug campaign was held on Raj-Luxmi College premises in Nazipur Upazila of the district on Tuesday morning. 

Central BNP Member and Zilla Parishad Administrator Principal Almagir Hossain attended the programme as chief guest while governing body Chairman Rezaul Karim Liton chaired the opening session. 

Principal Milon Kanti Mondal conducted the programme, and Nazirpur Upazila BNP General Secretary Md Abu Hasan Khan was the special guest. 

Speakers said round the year the programme will continue to eliminate drugs from the society for building a better Bangladesh and to maintain ecological balance and climate resiliency.
