Thakurgaon crash leaves two dead

A fatal road accident involving a three-wheeler, pickup and motorcycle has claimed two lives and injured five persons in Thakurgaon.

Bhuly Upazila Police Chief OC Nure Alam Siddiqui informed that the accident happened in the Post Office area of Bhuly Upazila.

Anwar, 60, of Balia Union and another nameless person met their death, said OC Nure Alam Siddiqui.

In his statement to media, police added that the accident took place when the pick up car first hit the motorcycle and then crashed into a three wheeler. Two people succumbed to injuries and others have been rushed to Thakurgaon 250 Bed Hospital.

The locals captured the accused and handed him over to police.
