Elder one allegedly kills younger brother

A person is reported to have been killed through beating by his elder brother and his friends at around 1 PM yesterday Tuesday (August 25).

Zakir Hossain, the deceased, reportedly met with the incident at the hands of his elder brother, Md Shakil, 32, and others in Kakiarchar Westpara of Mokam Union.

As per the information provided by the police and local people, a dispute over family matters turned into a physical fight between the brothers. Zakir was brutally attacked by his elder brother and he died in Cumilla Medical College Hospital.

The body was recovered from there and sent to the mortuary. In-charge of Debpur Police Outpost Surejit Barua said that the body bore multiple injuries.
