Anti-mosquito drive launched in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, Sept 4: Pirojpur Zilla Parishad Administrator Principal Alamgir Hossain launched a month-long mosquito prevention drive on his office premises and surrounding densely populated areas on Thursday morning to control dengue in the district and create awareness among common people about dengue. 

The district has already been declared as a dengue hotspot. 
Meanwhile, State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Mir Shahe Alam, MP, mentioned in national media the cause of high dengue infection in Pirojpur.
