Rain, thundershowers likely in Dhaka, 8 divs

Rain and thundershowers are expected in Dhaka and all eight divisions on Saturday, with some areas potentially experiencing moderately heavy rainfall, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

The sky over Dhaka may remain partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy, while daytime and nighttime temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged.

Winds in Dhaka may blow from the south and southeast at 10-15 kilometres per hour. 

The capital recorded 27.6°C at 6AM, with 89 per cent relative humidity.

No warning signal has been issued for the country’s inland river ports.
