Protesters block Shahbagh demanding Noakhali division

Protesters demanding that Noakhali be made a separate division blocked Shahbagh intersection in Dhaka on Friday afternoon (September 4), bringing traffic in the area to a halt.

The protesters began a procession at Shahbagh after noon, chanting slogans including, “We have only one demand, we want Noakhali division.”

The blockade caused severe traffic disruption around Shahbagh, leaving passengers and drivers suffering.
