Disabled elderly man hacked in Nilphamari

His son lodged a written complaint with Nilphamari Sadar Police Station.

The victim is Mominur Rahman who hails from Jamtala under Panchapukur Union.

As per the report submitted to the police (August 29), Mominur Rahman requested Suman Rana to shut the lid of the toilet due to the smell coming from there into his house. There was an altercation during which Suman and other three persons attacked Mominur with weapons.

Passers-by heard his cry and saved him and took him to the hospital where he is being treated for some days.

OC of Nilphamari Sadar Police Station Md Zillur Rahman said that the report has been received and legal process is going on.
