Famous actor Abul Hayat celebrates his 82nd birthday today (September 7), and with that comes six decades in acting. Born in 1944 in Murshidabad, the actor hails from Chattogram, and studied Civil Engineering in BUET, after which he joined Dhaka WASA as an engineer.
Abul Hayat made his television acting debut in the 1969 show Oedipus. Since then, he has acted in various TV shows, movies, and theaters, starring in famous productions like Ei Shob Din Ratri, Ayomoy, Bohubrihi, Aj Robibar, Aguner Poroshmoni, Joyjatra and Agnatnama.
His complete name is Khandaker Mohammad Shamsul Arefin Abul Hayat Golam Mahbub which contains nine words, and his nickname is Robi.
Hayat has been awarded the National Film Award and Ekushey Padak. He is a renowned actor, director, and scriptwriter. Hayat is going to celebrate his birthday in the company of his family members, which includes his granddaughter Srisha, who shares the same birthday.
