Asif Mahmud changes voter area

National Citizen Party (NCP) spokesperson Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan has changed his voter area from Dhaka South City Corporation to Dhaka North City Corporation.

His voter area has recently been shifted to Aftabnagar under Dhaka North City Corporation, according to a post on his verified Facebook account on Monday afternoon.

Asif Mahmud applied for the change using Election Commission Form-13. The Election Commission approved the application after necessary verification and examination of official documents, the post said.

As a result, his voter registration is now under Dhaka North City Corporation.

On the same day, NCP chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari said he had changed his voter area from Dhaka North to Dhaka South.

According to a press release sent to the media, Patwari was previously a registered voter in Uttara under Dhaka North City Corporation. He has recently been included as a voter in the Dhaka-8 parliamentary constituency under Dhaka South City Corporation.
