
The Bureau of Business Research under the Faculty of Business Administration, in collaboration with the Research and Publication Cell at Chittagong University (CU), organised a seminar titled “Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)” at the university’s BBA auditorium room on Wednesday.
CU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Mohammad Al-Forkan attended the event as the chief guest, while Chairman of the Bureau of Business Research Professor Dr Jahurul Alam chaired the session.
CU Pro VC (Academic) Professor Dr Mohammad Al-Amin, Pro VC (Administration) Professor Dr Md Shafiqul Islam, and Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Professor Dr Mohammad Saleh Jahur spoke as special guests.
Md Abdul Hakim Bhuiyan (FCMA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant, delivered the keynote address.
CU VC Professor Dr Mohammad Al-Forkan stated that the training on ERP is crucial for the students. ERP plays a vital role in the integrated management of various organisational functions, such as accounting, human resources, procurement, and general management, within modern institutions. He noted that this hands-on training would enhance their skills and enrich their resumes, proving beneficial for their future careers.
Chairmen of various departments within the Faculty of Business Administration, the Director of the Research and Publication Office, and a large number of students were present at the event.
