Mahdee Amin urges Indian envoy to prevent absconders from causing instability

Mahdee Amin Adviser to the Prime Minister and spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, has called on the Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka to ensure that convicted criminals and associates of fascism fleeing in India cannot create any instability.

The request was made on Thursday morning during a courtesy meeting between Mahdee Amin and the Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Dinesh Trivedi, at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon.

The meeting featured fruitful discussions on the overall development of bilateral relations and enhancing people-to-people contact between the two nations. Pawan Badhe, Deputy High Commissioner of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, was also present during the discussion.

Both sides emphasized strengthening democratic norms and values in both countries. They agreed to elevate bilateral relations to a sustainable and dignified height based on mutual respect, equality, fairness, and justice.

Additionally, constructive discussions took place on resolving existing challenges and issues through dialogue and cooperation.

Highlighting the multidimensional framework of bilateral ties, both parties stressed bolstering cooperation in education, health, sports, culture, and tourism, alongside expanding business, trade, and investment.

Acknowledging the immense potential of IT and innovation, both sides expressed consensus on expanding mutual collaboration in science and technology.
