Worker dies inside M'ganj water tank

MUNSHIGANJ, Sept 17: A 45-year-old worker, Delwar Hossain, died on Tuesday morning while cleaning a water tank at a relative’s home in Deobhog Bazar in Munshiganj Municipality, local sources said.

Delwar Hossain was found unconscious inside the tank at about 9:30 am and taken to Munshiganj General Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. An emergency department doctor said there were no visible injury marks.

Relatives said Delwar Hossain had epilepsy. Doctors said the exact cause of death will be determined by an autopsy, and the body will be sent for an autopsy if the family files a complaint.
