HSC equivalent results likely between nov 7 and 15

The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations are likely to be published between November 7 and 15, according to the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.

Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee President and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Prof Syed Akhtaruzzaman told the media on Tuesday that preparations for publishing the results are underway.

He said the results could be published within the November 7-15 window if all necessary processes are completed as scheduled.

Some HSC and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board were held later than those under other boards due to natural disasters. To prevent the delay from affecting the publication of results, additional examiners have been assigned to evaluate answer scripts, Akhtaruzzaman said.

The HSC and equivalent examinations began on July 2 and ended on August 8 nationwide. However, examinations in the Chattogram region were completed on September 9 due to the disruptions. Practical examinations, which were scheduled to end by August 15, were also completed later in Chattogram.

Education boards are working to publish the results of students across the country simultaneously, using additional manpower and examiners to speed up the evaluation and result-preparation process.

A total of 1,270,583 students from 9,439 educational institutions appeared in this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations under 11 education boards.

Students will be able to check their results online and through SMS after publication. To receive results via SMS, they will have to type HSC, followed by the first three letters of their board, roll number and 2026, and send the message to 16222. For example, a Dhaka Board student can send HSC DHA 123456 2026 to 16222.
