Shokh loses 15kg in seven months

Popular model-actress Anika Kabir Shokh has lost 15kg in seven months, bringing her weight down to 55kg after being diagnosed with fatty liver.

Shokh recently caught attention at a fashion show with her noticeably slimmer appearance. The actress said the transformation was driven not only by a desire to change her appearance but also by health concerns.

About eight months ago, she consulted a doctor and learned that she was suffering from fatty liver. Following medical advice, she began controlling her diet and exercising regularly, which gradually helped her lose weight.

After becoming a mother, Shokh’s weight reportedly rose to around 80kg. It later dropped to 70kg after childbirth but remained unchanged for some time. She had previously tried dieting and exercising several times but struggled to maintain the routine.

This time, however, health concerns prompted her to adopt a stricter lifestyle. She has reduced her intake of beef and said she ate only two pieces of beef during this year’s Eid-ul-Azha. Her current diet mainly consists of vegetables, chicken and eggs, while she has also cut potatoes from her meals.

She is also trying to eat more home-cooked food and maintain a regular exercise routine.

Meanwhile, Shokh is preparing to return to acting after a long break from the screen. She stayed away from acting following her marriage, family life and motherhood.

Several film directors have already approached her, and the actress has expressed interest in working regularly in films if she finds good stories and suitable roles.

Shokh is therefore preparing for both a healthier lifestyle and a return to the screen, with fans eagerly awaiting her comeback.
