KOICA delegation meets DU VC

A five-member Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) delegation led by Prof. Dr Tae Wha Lee of Yonsei University College of Nursing met Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr A. B. M. Obaidul Islam on Wednesday to discuss introducing a PhD programme in Nursing at the National Institute of Advanced Nursing Education and Research (NIANER).

The meeting discussed possible KOICA support and cooperation for the programme. DU VC  thanked the delegation and stressed the need for stronger international academic and research partnerships. He assured all possible support for the proposed programme.

NIANER, established in 2023 with KOICA funding, is Bangladesh’s first national postgraduate nursing school.
