Teacher accused of physically, mentally abusing class-five student in Dhaka

A teacher at Motijheel Ideal School and College in Dhaka has been accused of physically and mentally abusing a Class Five student.

The student’s parents alleged that the teacher also threatened not to teach the student if the incident was reported or they sought justice.

The student’s mother, Umme Habiba, lodged a complaint with the principal of Motijheel Ideal School and College on Thursday (September 24), demanding an investigation and punishment for the teacher involved.

The student, identified as Md Ishmam Tahmid Sami, is a Class Five student of Section 7 at the institution’s Motijheel branch.

The family has called for a proper investigation into the allegations and appropriate action against the teacher.
