Bellingham makes history again

Jude Bellingham has made history by winning the England men’s senior Player of the Year award for the second successive season, becoming the first player to receive the honour back-to-back.

The Real Madrid midfielder was voted for by England supporters following another impressive campaign for the Three Lions. He scored seven goals and provided one assist in 12 appearances for England during the 2025-26 season.

Bellingham had previously won the award for the 2024-25 season, when he finished ahead of Declan Rice and Harry Kane in the supporters’ vote. His latest recognition further underlines his growing influence at international level.

The award also follows a productive 2026 World Cup campaign, where Bellingham scored seven goals as England finished third. His tally made him the first Englishman to score seven goals in a single World Cup.

The latest honour adds another individual achievement to Bellingham’s rapidly developing international career and cements his place among the key figures of England’s current generation.
