19 die after drinking adulterated liquor in India's Nagaland

At least 19 people have died after drinking adulterated liquor in Nagaland, a northeastern state of India, over the past two days, police said Saturday.
Police said 11 people died in Tuensang and eight in Mokokchung.
Liquor has been banned in Nagaland for more than three decades, with the sale and consumption of all types of alcohol prohibited in the state.
The Nagaland government has formed a special task force to identify the source of the adulterated liquor.
Local police said several people have been arrested in connection with the deaths.
