More Buses Needed for Eden College Students

Dear Sir,

I would like to draw attention to the ongoing bus crisis faced by students of Eden Mohila College. At present, five buses operate on different routes for students. Among them, the bus named “Rajanigandha” operates on the Kachpur-College route in only one shift. Nearly 1,000 students regularly use this route, making the bus extremely overcrowded every day. Students often have to travel in uncomfortable conditions, sometimes standing throughout the journey. 

The situation becomes particularly difficult during hot weather, and many students reportedly feel sick because of the excessive crowd and heat. This also affects their regular attendance and academic activities.

The college authorities should take immediate steps to address the issue. At least one additional bus could be introduced on the Kachpur-College route. Alternatively, the existing “Rajanigandha” bus could operate in two shifts so that more students can travel safely and comfortably. I hope the authorities will take prompt action to ensure safe and convenient transportation for the students.
