World Pharmacists Day held at DU

World Pharmacists Day was observed at Dhaka University (DU) on Sunday with the theme “Empowering Pharmacists for a Healthy Future”. Department of Pharmacy and  Faculty of Pharmacy organised the day-long programmes including rally and discussion. DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr A B M Obaidul Islam attended the event as the chief guest. A discussion was held at the Pharmacy Lecture Theatre. Professor Dr Zakir Ahmed Chowdhury, chairman of the Department of Pharmacy, chaired it.
