Jackie Chan death hoax spreads online as his $400m estate plan resurfaces

A false report claiming that Hollywood action star Jackie Chan has died has spread widely on social media, prompting renewed attention to his longstanding views on his wealth and inheritance.

The viral post claimed that the 71-year-old Rush Hour star had died and featured a black-and-white photograph of Chan with '1954-2026' written beside his name. 

The claim was false, and Chan’s team confirmed that the actor is alive and well.
