Raphinha to miss India match

Raphinha will miss Brazil’s friendly against India on Saturday (October 3) after a scan revealed a minor muscle edema in the back of his right thigh, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) said on Wednesday (September 30). 

The Barcelona forward was substituted at half-time during Brazil’s 4-2 win over Australia on Tuesday. The CBF said he was released from the squad as a precaution and no replacement will be called up for the India match.
