Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and police recovered 19 cocktail-like objects during a joint operation in Shibganj of Chapainawabganj on Sunday morning.

The operation was conducted around 9:15 AM in Khaksapara village under Durlavpur Union of Shibganj upazila.

According to 53 BGB, acting on a tip-off, a patrol team from Raghunathpur Border Outpost spotted a black bucket under a haystack in front of the house of one Md Kalam, about 300 yards inside Bangladesh from the border.

The BGB members found cocktail-like objects inside the bucket, cordoned off the area and informed Shibganj police.

Later, police arrived at the spot and, in a joint operation, recovered 19 cocktail-like objects from the bucket.

The recovered objects were handed over to Shibganj police around 2:30 PM for legal action.
