Pirojpur gets new DC 

PIROJPUR, Oct 4: Deputy Secretary (DS) of the government Md Golam Rabbani has joined as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Magistrate on Sunday morning at his office from the Ministry of Public Administration. 

At that time, the DC exchanged greetings with his office employees. District administration officials welcomed the new DC and assured to provide cooperation. 

Additional DC Md Mahmudur Rahman Mamun, Additional District Magistrate Tanjila Kabir Tropa, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Iftekharul Islam Shamim, other UNOs and Assistant Commissioners (Land) of the district were present in the meeting.

The outgoing DC Abu Sayeed has been transferred to Tangail District as DC. Before leaving, he was given farewell at Pirojpur Press Club on Saturday evening.  President of the press club Rezaul Islam Shamim chaired the meeting.
