Under the joint collaboration of Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU), the University Teachers' Training Academy, the Higher Education Acceleration and Transformation (HEAT) Project, and the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh, a three-month-long ‘Junior Faculty Professional Development Program’ has been inaugurated at the old auditorium of GAU on Sunday to enhance the professional skills and excellence of early-career faculty members. Sixty teachers from 29 public and private universities across the country are participating in this training programme. GAU VC Professor Dr GKM Mostafizur Rahman chaired the event while UGC Chairman Professor Dr Mamun Ahmed attended as chief guest.PHOTO: OBSERVER
