The United States is preparing to deploy additional military personnel and combat aircraft to Israel amid rising concerns over potential regional conflict, according to Israeli media reports.
Anadolu Agency, citing a report by Israeli news outlet Walla on Monday, reported that the new deployments will join approximately 3,000 US military personnel currently stationed in Israel over the coming weeks.
Unnamed security sources cited in the Walla report stated that US forces in Israel are currently engaged in operating air defense systems, serving as pilots and support personnel, managing logistics, and executing duties within military headquarters.
The upcoming troop and aircraft arrivals are part of ongoing military rotations across the Middle East, aimed at bolstering regional readiness. A senior Israeli security official noted that regional adversaries are carefully monitoring geopolitical developments, adding that any aggression would face a severe response.
Meanwhile, Israel continues to maintain close military coordination with US Central Command (CENTCOM) to prepare for potential missile strikes or rapid escalation involving Iran.
