3 more children die with measles within 24 hours

Three more children have died from measles and its symptoms in the past 24 hours, taking the total death toll since March 15 to 1,147, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 1,349 new patients were admitted to hospitals during the period, the DGHS said in a press release on Friday.
Of them, 1,268 showed measles symptoms, while 81 were confirmed to have the disease.
The total number of confirmed measles cases across the country has risen to 22,197, while 202,893 people have shown measles symptoms.
So far, 180,079 patients with measles symptoms have been admitted to hospitals, while 172,705 have been discharged.
