Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will visit Tokyo on October 26 for a four-day trip at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
The visit is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation, with discussions likely to cover metro rail projects, defence equipment procurement and other development initiatives.
The two prime ministers are also expected to hold bilateral talks on expanding cooperation between the two countries and reviewing progress on ongoing development projects.
The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for Dhaka and Tokyo to explore avenues for deeper engagement in infrastructure development, defence cooperation and other areas of mutual interest.
