Pakistan has suspended trade with Iran through two key border crossings in Balochistan, disrupting the movement of goods between the two countries.
The suspension has left freight vehicles carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), rice, fresh fruit and other goods stranded on both sides of the border. The disruption could affect cross-border supply chains, increase transportation costs and put pressure on the prices of some commodities in Pakistan.
The move has also raised concerns over LPG supplies and the potential impact on local markets. The duration of the suspension and its overall economic impact remain uncertain.
