Israeli opposition parties are planning to hold a vote on November 10 to replace Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party.
Opposition leaders are reportedly seeking to elect a new speaker before the formation of the next government. Yair Lapid is among the names being considered for the post.
However, disagreements over cooperation with Arab parties could complicate the plan.
