Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has married Hindu journalist Nidhi Razdan in a private ceremony held in Srinagar, the couple announced on Saturday (October 31).
The 56-year-old chief minister shared the news on social media platform X, tagging Nidhi Razdan with a message marking the beginning of their new journey together.
Indian media outlet NDTV reported that the wedding was solemnized in an intimate setting attended by close family members, including Omar Abdullah's parents Farooq Abdullah and Mollie Abdullah, alongside Nidhi Razdan's parents MK Razdan and Sarla Razdan.
Omar Abdullah was previously married to Payal Nath, with whom he has two sons, before the Supreme Court finalized their divorce in July following a prolonged separation and legal dispute.
The marriage marks a significant personal milestone for the Chief Minister as he assumes his political responsibilities in Jammu and Kashmir.
