Kartik Aaryan’s debut as producer in ‘Ladaku’

Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan, acclaimed by his audiences for his acting, is now set to take on a new role behind the camera. He will make his debut as a producer with the film ‘Ladaku’, directed by Kabir Khan. This marks a new chapter in Kartik’s career, extending beyond his established path as an actor.

On Wednesday, Birla Studios announced the release date for ‘Ladaku’, which is scheduled to hit theaters on June 18, 2027. The film is being produced by Birla Studios and Kabir Khan Entertainment, with Kartik Aaryan also joining the production team in collaboration with Dopamine Studios.

According to the filmmakers, ‘Ladaku’ is a story about human ambition, determination, and hope. Based on real-life events, the film is being presented as a family entertainer. However, no announcements have been made regarding the cast, so audiences will have to wait a bit longer to learn who will be starring in the film.

Kartik Aaryan and director Kabir Khan previously collaborated on the 2024 film ‘Chandu Champion’. Kartik received a National Award for his performance in that movie; while it may not have achieved the expected box office success, his acting was widely praised. Building on that experience, he is now returning to work with the same director, but in a new capacity.

Meanwhile, Kartik also garnered attention for his performance in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, which drew positive feedback from the audience, with some even comparing his portrayal to that of Akshay Kumar in the earlier installment. On the other hand, the 2025 release ‘Tu Meri Main Tera’ failed to meet box office expectations.
