On Saturday (November 7), ‘National Revolution and Solidarity Day’ will be observed across the country. To mark the occasion, a special concert will be held at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital, featuring performances by 7 popular bands from the country.
The event, titled ‘Concert for Solidarity,’ is being organized by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. The lineup includes the bands ‘Nagarbaul,’ ‘Warfaze,’ ‘Miles,’ ‘Shironamhin,’ ‘Artcell,’ ‘Mechanix,’ and ‘Feedback.’
Gates to the venue will open at 3:00 PM, and the concert is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM. Spanning approximately 7 hours, the event promises an exceptional experience for the audience. The concert is open to the public, allowing everyone to enjoy performances by their favorite bands free of charge.
Open-air concerts in the country have seen a sharp decline over the past 2 years, with many events being cancelled due to security concerns. In this context, ‘Concert for Solidarity’ serves as a major attraction for music fans; having 7 popular bands share the same stage is, without a doubt, a remarkable highlight.
Announcing the event, the band ‘Warfaze’ shared a message for the audience: “One city, one stage, seven iconic musical performances, a unique spirit of unity and solidarity. Get ready for an unforgettable musical experience. At Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka, the bonds of unity, harmony, and goodwill will be celebrated through the power of music.”
