Former youth and sports adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan has stated that India should not be allowed to host international events.

Condemning the decision of excluding Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman from Kolkata Knight Riders’ IPL squad, he stated on his verified social media post, “A state like this, which acts in such an extreme manner, should not be allowed to host any international events.”

“The government and BCB should jointly declare India unsuitable for hosting international competitions after consultations with other cricket-playing nations,” he said.

Labeling the decision as unjust, he noted, “Even after August 5th, numerous tournaments across various disciplines have been safely held in Bangladesh, with Indian participants competing in a fully secure and fair environment.”

Earlier, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) instructed Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to exclude Mustafizur Rahman from their IPL squad. Following this, KKR officially announced his exclusion in a statement on Saturday.
