Motorcyclist killed in Ctg road crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a road crash at Lohagara upazila in Chattogram district on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Rezaul Karim, 45, a resident of Maulvi Para area under Chakaria upazila in Cox's Bazar district. He was a mason by profession.

According to sources, the incident occurred in Padua Sikder area on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar highway when a trolley coming from the opposite direction collided head-on with his motorcycle, throwing him off the motorcycle, resulting him to die on the spot.

Confirming the incident, Dohazari Highway Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Salauddin Chowdhury said that the trolley has been seized and further legal procedures are underway.
