Unidentified man's body recovered in Ctg

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from Bandar Police Station area of Chattogram city on Monday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be known, aged nearly 45.

According to police, locals discovered the body in a sack from a drain next to a garbage depot in Anandabazar area under Bandar Police Station and informed police.

Being informed, police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) morgue for an autopsy.

Bandar Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Md Abdur Rahim confirmed the incident and said that legal action is underway.

Police suspect that the man may have been killed by strangulation.
