College student killed in Bogura road mishap

A college student was killed in a road mishap at Nandigram upazila of Bogura district on Thursday evening.

The deceased was identified as Akash, 18, son of Saudi Arabia expatriate Badshah Mia of Muraridighi village under Bhatra union in the upazila.

According to locals, the incident occurred on the Katham–Kaliganj regional highway in Moninag area when when a goods-laden bhutbhuti coming from the opposite direction collided head-on with Akash’s motorcycle, throwing him off the bike and he died on the spot

Nandigram Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman confirmed the incident and said that legal action would be taken in this regard.
