Committee formed to probe corruption allegations against BSS MD

The Ministry of Information has constituted a four-member committee to investigate corruption allegations against Mahbub Morshed, Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).

According to a statement from Press Information Department (PID), the committee is tasked with submitting its findings along with recommendations by February 25.

The probe will be led by an Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, with a Senior Assistant Secretary of the ministry serving as Member Secretary.

Other members include PID Principal Information Officer Md Nizamul Kabir and Director General of the Mass Communication Department Md Abdul Jalil.
