Rangamati Ansar, hill VDP members receive Eid gift packages

 
RANGAMATI, Mar 11: As part of Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 celebrations, the Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) distributed gifts to Ansar and Hill VDP members in Rangamati on Wednesday.

The distribution took place at the office of the District Commandant, where members from all 10 upazilas of the district received Eid gift packages. The event was presided over by Assistant District Commandant Md. Sajjadul Islam and attended by officials and members from various upazila Ansar and VDP units.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said the gift distribution aimed to spread the joy of Eid among grassroots-level workers, including Ansar, Hill VDP, union leaders, and upazila and union Ansar commanders.

Each recipient received a package containing 1 kg of polao rice, two packets of semai (laccha), two packets of regular semai, 200 grams of powdered milk, 500 grams of suji, one packet of noodles, 1 kg of sugar, and 1 litre of soybean oil.
