The Government of Bangladesh has issued a formal condemnation of recent Israeli military actions in Lebanon, highlighting the tragic death of a Bangladeshi citizen and the rising toll of civilian casualties.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the escalating violence poses a severe threat to regional stability and ongoing peace initiatives.

At the center of the diplomatic protest is the reported killing of a Bangladeshi woman, identified as Ms. Dipali, who lost her life during an Israeli strike in Beirut. The government expressed its profound grief over the incident, offering heartfelt condolences and solidarity to her grieving family.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized its deep concern over the broader humanitarian impact of the conflict, noting that the loss of innocent lives and widespread injuries are undermining efforts to secure long-term peace in the Middle East.

The Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut remains in active communication with the victim’s relatives. Officials confirmed that the mission is making necessary arrangements to repatriate her remains to Bangladesh as soon as the local security situation allows for safe transport.

This latest development adds to the growing international concern over the spillover effects of the conflict on foreign nationals residing and working in Lebanon. Bangladesh’s official stance underscores a call for an immediate cessation of hostilities to prevent further civilian suffering and to protect the fragile security landscape of the region.
