Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou has introduced its advanced cancer treatment technologies and medical support services for Bangladeshi patients through a series of exhibitions and forums in Dhaka.

The hospital participated in the ‘CMES International Health Tourism and Service Expo 2026’, held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) from May 7 to 9.

It also joined the China-Bangladesh Education Cooperation Forum 2026 at the International Mother Language Institute on May 9.

As part of its outreach activities, the hospital set up an information booth at the New Science Building of Dhaka University (DU) on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The institution is also scheduled to participate in the NSU Pharmacists Club event at North South University on May 11.

Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou is recognised internationally for its specialised cancer treatment services. In addition to conventional surgery and chemotherapy, the hospital offers 18 minimally invasive treatment technologies, including interventional therapy, cryotherapy and NanoKnife treatment.

According to the organisers, these advanced technologies target tumours directly while minimising damage to healthy cells, reducing side effects and accelerating patient recovery.

Renowned oncologist Professor Wang Ligan attended the exhibition, where cancer patients and their family members had the opportunity to consult him regarding advanced treatment options and cancer care.

The hospital’s Dhaka office is providing support services for Bangladeshi patients seeking treatment in China, including medical report evaluation, treatment planning, online consultations with specialist doctors, visa processing, travel assistance, interpretation services and post-treatment follow-up care.
