Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, the official distributor of Sony products in Bangladesh, has launched a nationwide promotional campaign titled “Golden Goal Offer” to celebrate the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026. The six-week campaign began on June 8 and will continue until July 26.
Under the offer, customers purchasing products worth more than Tk 10,000 will receive a scratch card with a guaranteed gift on a first-come, first-served basis. The campaign covers products from Sony, Smart, Haier, Sharp and Xiaomi, including televisions, sound systems, headphones, air conditioners and refrigerators.
Guaranteed prizes include FIFA team jerseys, footballs, Sony headphones, power banks, air coolers and other gifts. Customers buying Sony BRAVIA televisions of 50 inches or larger will also receive a limited-edition Sony BRAVIA jersey, subject to stock availability.
Additionally, buyers of Sony televisions measuring 65 inches or above can participate in a weekly lucky draw through QR-code registration at retail outlets. Winners will receive a sports gift box containing an Argentina or Brazil jersey, a cap and an official FIFA World Cup training ball.
The campaign was officially inaugurated on June 8 at Sony-Smart’s headquarters in Mirpur, Dhaka, by Joshua Quek, Head of Sony International (Pvt.) Ltd. Bangladesh Branch, in the presence of company officials and partners.
To make purchases more affordable, Sony-Smart has partnered with 15 banks to offer EMI facilities and is also providing digital warranty registration and exclusive discounts for Grameenphone Star subscribers.
